The University of Battambang, Royal University of Phnom Penh (Cambodia), An Giang University (Vietnam), Can Tho University (Vietnam), University of Toulouse (France), University of Ghent (Belgium), University of Girona (Spain), University of Life Science and Natural Resources-BOKU (Austria) co-organized the International Symposium on Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable use of Ecosystem Services which is conducted from September 12-14, 2019 at Siem Reap City, Cambodia. This International Symposium was presided over by H.E. Yok Ngoy, Secretary of State and a representative of H.E. Dr. HangChoun Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports. This International Symposium is a result of the three years project, co-funded by European Union and also the result of research finding of students and researchers among partners and stakeholders.
The themes in this symposium are:
1, Biodiversity Conservation and Ecosystem Management
2, Biodiversity and Climate Changed
3, Sea Ecosystem Management
4, Biodiversity and Sustainable Development
As the organizers, we are proudly inform that more than 80 participants from 12 countries included partners and associate partners are attended this International Symposium. There are more than 50 abstracts were submitted!
The University of Battambang gratitude thanks to the EU and Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Cambodia for strongly support us on many projects for the development of higher education and research in Cambodia.
