His Excellency Dr. Touch Visalsok, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) presided over the CONSEA Project “Final Steering Committee Meeting” at Alliance Française, Siem Reap city. This project is a three years project with the aim:
- To develop/reform a best-practice curriculum of Master Degree (MS) and PhD programmes in Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Environment in SEA
- To educate students with essential knowledge, transferable skills and experience via the developed MS program
- To improve SEA educational system through high technology teaching equipment
- To transfer the best practices of Biodiversity conservation technology to Stakeholder/Managers of the environment
There are 8 partners in this project: 04 in Asia (University of Battambang, Royal University of Phnom Penh, Cambodia and An Giang University, Can Tho University, Vietnam), 04 in Europe (University of Toulouse-France, Ghent University-Belgium, University of Girona-Spain and University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU – Austria).
