On behalf of CONSEA’s consortium and the University of Battambang, co-coordinator of CONSEA project, Dr Ratha Chea has attended the cluster meeting and presented the objectives, outcomes, achievement as well as the challenges that we are facing in term of the development of new curricula in Biodiversity Conservation and Environmental Safety in SE Asia. The presentation of CONSEA project was really interesting and stimulated the participants during the cluster meeting, especially the challenges that we are facing and what we have achieved so far. The cluster meeting is ended with the round table discussion on the impact, financial management, challenges and sustainability of the Erasmus+ project after the eligibility period of the project.

Cluster Meeting on “Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education” was held at Royal University of Phnom Penh, under the presence of HE Samady Sivathana, Under Secretary of State in charge of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) at Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, Dr Genoveva Hernandez Uriz, in charge affairs at the Delegation of European Union to Cambodia and Dr Antonella Giorgio, Project Adviser coming from the Education, Audio-Visual, Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). The objective of the cluster meeting is to learn and to monitor the progress of all Cambodian funded Erasmus+ projects, what we are doing now, what have archived so far, what are the challenges that we are facing until now, as well as, the expected outcomes and impacts both short-term and long-term from the project at institutional level, national level and regional level. Besides, the cluster meeting brough also the opportunity for Cambodian partners to learn, to share and to exchange the best practice from each other; also to tackle the problems/challenges that we, Cambodian higher education institutions, are facing together.
