  1. Genbank and BLAST: make use of resources in Genbank and use BLAST for sequence analysis
  2. CLUSTAL and MEGA: a powerful program for analyzing sequence data
  3. Microsatellite genotyping: learn how to score microsatellites and get input file formatted.
  4. Population genetic analysis: analyzing microsatellite data using program “Genepop” on the web

Student presentations

Pairs of students presented assigned papers relating to conservation genetics. Each presentation took 15-20 minutes including Q&A.

Certification: at the end of the course, all participants were awarded a certificate certified his/her participation of the course.
